The spacious room was a treat, and I loved sipping coffee on the sunny terrace in the morning. The hotel has a lovely garden area and a cozy leisure room perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the parking can be a bit tricky to find at first, but it’s worth it for the great vibes! 🌞

Very welcoming staff, fairly clean hotel, spacious room. The rooms with shower. Very impressed with central heating, a safe, and multi-channel TV available. Beautiful and particularly good location close to the centre of the historic town of Trujillo, and 10 minute walk from a medieval Moorish castle...

The atmosphere in the convent was
Captivating. The spacious room provided comfort and was well-maintained. We encountered issues with breakfast service, underwhelming and slow, detracting from an otherwise excellent stay.

The location of this hotel was excellent and just a short walk from the beautiful Plaza Mayor in Trujillo, where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes for those who prefer to eat out rather than at the hotel. It is situated in a former convent and the building retains many of its original features while incorporating all the comforts of a modern hotel. It has a quiet and restful ambiance and is clean, comfortable and tidy.
A free supply of bottled water in our rooms would have been greatly appreciated and parking for vehicles is rather limited.

The hotel location is excellent and our room was set in a very attractive former cloister. Wifi was available all round the hotel. Garage parking was good if a little expensive. The friendly staff were both helpful and efficient
You will need to be up early for breakfast as by 9.15 there was little choice left

A tranquil retreat in history
The Parador De Trujillo offered a serene ambiance, nestled in a beautifully restored convent with fine historical architecture. The spacious rooms were inviting, and the staff readily provided insightful recommendations for exploring nearby attractions.
The breakfast selection was underwhelming and the service somewhat slow, particularly in replenishing items. Locating the parking area can be a bit tricky, potentially causing some stress upon arrival.

The rooms were reasonably spacious and huge and view over the town was lovely! The location was fantastic within easy walking distance of the old town centre.

We think the food was much better than Michelin Starred restaurant of Granada. We enjoyed the food and the service. The interior design is lovely, the lighting is aesthetic. We liked it very much.

historic atmosphere, fine medieval architecture, serene courtyards
The room lighting could use some softening!!! Street access is tricky, leading to navigational headaches!!! Morning hot water issues put a damper on my routine!!! The restaurant ambience was overly bright, killing the mood!!!

The ancient historic convent in which at least half this Parador was well renovated some years ago without losing its charm. We were in this older part for 2 nights - the likely better choice of location in our view. Our room was huge, had nice linens and enjoyed an excellent view of rooftops and steeples of the old town as well the surrounding countryside from our tiny window (no balconies here: they would destroy the historic architectural integrity and aesthetics of the building) . The hotel is well located - only about a 5-minute walk to the town's main square. There was plenty of free parking nearby. The outdoor pool area looked attractive from a distance (through the locked door which prevented any access, this being perceived by management as the off season, although day temperatures averaged at least 25c).
The air conditioning/exchange system was still in winter mode, that is, it was totally inoperative, even though the outside temperatures reached 29c one day in late March. This meant you had to leave the room's window open at night to attempt to sleep comfortably while enduring the local dogs barking, etc. In addition, the bathroom had heat belching out from a hot-water radiator 24 hours a day - it could not be turned off. Therefore you had your own quasi-sauna while in the bathroom, the door of which you had to keep closed at all times to prevent heating the bedroom. While the bedroom was tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, it showed age and the walls really needed to be repainted as they were visibly scuffed from guests' heavy use; in one area the paint had disappeared altogether, exposing raw plaster. The room had not been attentively cleaned: visible dust in a few places and some guest's hairs on bedside table. Bar/cafeteria was badly understaffed: could find no one there for 5 minutes+ on one occasion and gave up. Outstanding courtyard patio was a great place for a refreshment, if you could find a waiter indoors and figure out where they hid the cushions for the otherwise unusable chairs.

Perfect situation, easy to find and to walk into the old town. Comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent restaurant and breakfats room.

The historic ambiance of the Parador De Trujillo is amazing, with fine medieval architecture that enhances the overall experience.
Finding the hotel can be quite challenging as it's located on narrow, winding streets. A clear map would have been a helpful addition.

Excellent hotel and so convenient for seeing this beautiful town. We didn't sample the restaurant but the breakfast served in the old chapel was top class.

The location and situation were very central and an excellent standard. The Parador is situated in an historic building which we try to book always. We have visited Cuenca, Caceres, Merida, Zamora, Santillana all of which were of the same excellent standard.
I was disappointed with my particular choice of menu in the restaurant. I cannot comment on other items on the menu although in general terms, I would not stay at a Parador based on the restaurant.
